Where a product is offered for preorder or is temporarily unavailable, estimated availability dates may change due to manufacturing, shipping or other circumstances.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact the customer and provide the remedies required by applicable law.
SECTION 5 — PRODUCTS AND INSTALLATION
Shadewing products are designed to reduce side-angle sun exposure experienced by drivers of compatible vehicles.
They do not eliminate all glare or visibility risks and do not replace safe driving practices, driver responsibility or existing vehicle safety systems.
Customer Installation
Where products are supplied for customer installation, Shade Wing Australia Pty Ltd does not supervise, control or perform the installation.
Installation guides, videos and other resources are provided to assist with installation.
The installer and vehicle owner/operator are responsible for confirming vehicle compatibility, correct fitment, positioning and safe installation for the specific vehicle and configuration.
This does not exclude any responsibility Shade Wing Australia Pty Ltd may have under Australian Consumer Law, including for defective products or inaccurate instructions.
Installation by Shade Wing Australia Pty Ltd
Where installation is performed by Shade Wing Australia Pty Ltd, the work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill based on the vehicle and configuration presented at the time of installation.
Following installation, the vehicle owner/operator is responsible for ongoing adjustment, inspection, maintenance and safe operation.
Shade Wing Australia Pty Ltd remains responsible for any obligations arising from its own installation work under applicable law.
Ongoing Use
Vehicle owners and operators should regularly inspect their Shadewing components and mounting arrangements for damage, wear, looseness or other issues that may affect safe operation.
Any damaged or insecure components should be addressed before continued use.
The vehicle owner/operator remains responsible for ensuring that the product is used safely and in accordance with applicable vehicle and road regulations.
SECTION 5A — 3-YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
Shade Wing Australia Pty Ltd stands behind the quality of our products.
If any component fails due to a manufacturing defect within three years of purchase, we'll replace the defective part at no charge.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modifications or normal wear and tear.
These exclusions apply to our voluntary manufacturer's warranty and do not limit any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Making a Warranty Claim
To make a claim, please contact Shade Wing Australia Pty Ltd with proof of purchase, a description of the issue and photographs where reasonably available.
We will assess the claim and, where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, arrange for the replacement component to be supplied at no charge.
Shade Wing Australia Pty Ltd will cover reasonable delivery costs for replacement components supplied under this warranty within Australia.
If a component needs to be returned for inspection, please contact us first so we can arrange its return or agree on reasonable return expenses. Any agreed reimbursement can be claimed by providing a receipt.
Australian Consumer Law
This manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
